Iconographic Themes in ArtIconography is the branch of Art History which studies the identification, description and the interpretation of the content of images. This website explores iconographical themes from mythology, the bible and profane sources, and shows examples from famous artists.
Since 1997 I'm working on a website about iconographic themes in Dutch. I'm planning to translate it completely. I've just recently started this project. Please be patient.
